Crimes committed against someone because of their disability, transgender-identity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation are known as hate crimes. You can report hate crime to the police, if it is an emergency dial 999, for non-emergencies dial 101. You can contact Migrant Help if you require support reporting a hate crime. You can also report hate crime online:

Everyone has the right to live free of abuse. Sexual assault and sexual abuse are crimes. You have a legal right to report any incident. This will not affect your asylum claim.
