Research requests

Thank you for your interest in working with Migrant Help and our clients.

As we receive many requests for research support, please complete the Research request form to enable us to advise whether your project can be supported. The information provided will assist us in reviewing your research request against Migrant Help's strategic objectives before being considered by the relevant Business Director. Participation will not be possible without their approval.

Most of the research requests received include access to or the involvement of clients supported by Migrant Help. Migrant Help operate a number of contracts on behalf of commissioners. In these cases, the commissioners are the data controllers, which may mean we are unable to fulfil some research requests.

As part of our commitment to co-production, we have established Lived Experience Advisory Panels (LEAPs) in our services. LEAP members work closely with us to evaluate and develop our services and influence external policy. It is usually possible to engage LEAP members in most research requests, providing they are happy and have the capacity to participate.

Please note, there may be an additional cost for LEAP member participation in research projects, covering staff time, interpretation, translation, wrap around costs and the provision of incentives to participants. We will advise of any additional costs that may be associated with the research request.

The Head of IT (H IT) is an influential role leading the IT team that supports over 500 staff and thousands of clients based across the UK. This is a critical role in delivering Migrant Help’s evolving digital vision and strategy with an emphasis on integrity, IT Security, and technological innovation.
eVisa Senior Client Adviser

We are currently looking for a Senior Client Adviser to join our dedicated and supportive eVisa team on a fixed term contract. There is potential for the this be extended or made permanent. The scope of this role is to work as part of the Migrant Help eVisa Scheme as a Senior Adviser. As the Senior Adviser you will provide line management and operational oversight to eVisa Client Advisers and will provide a professional, high quality support service to families and individuals
eVisa Client Adviser

We are currently looking for Client Advisers to join our dedicated and compassionate eVisa team, on a fixed term contract. There will be a potential for the role to be made permanent or be extended. The successful candidates will be organised and customer focused, have demonstrable experience providing advice and information within an organisation and working with people in sensitive and emotionally demanding situations and be passionate about protecting our vulnerable clients.
Regional Assistant Manager - Cardiff (Hybrid)

We are currently looking for a Regional Assistant Manager to join our passionate and committed Regional team in Cardiff on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to be extended or made permanent. The successful candidate will be client focused and an excellent listener, have a keen eye for detail and be able to engage well with all relevant stakeholders.
