If you have logged into your account and found errors on your eVisa, you need to report these straight away, otherwise your support maybe discontinued prior to the details being updated.

Errors may include any of the following:

  • Name
  • Place of birth
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Photograph

If the Home Office created your UKVI account for you and the email address or phone number used for sign in is wrong, you can use this service to change them.

These need to be reported via: (link) www.report-error-evisa.homeoffice.gov.uk

You must continue to liaise with the local authority and the DWP to ensure that you are ready to move from asylum support at the end of your 28-day period.

Once the errors have been reported, if all information is supplied, you should receive a response within five working days regarding the errors you have reported and next steps. If you are in receipt of asylum support, then support may be automatically reinstated. You will receive written confirmation if your support has been extended. If this is not received, you will be expected to leave.

If a response is not received within five working days, you can make a complaint via:   https://www.gov.uk/complain-uk-visas-immigration
