Simon Gallow is a Programme Manager at Amnesty International and Advocate and HeForShe Lead at UN Women UK, aiming to use his professional experiences to promote human rights and gender equality. At Amnesty International he manages a global Programme dedicated to advancing the rights, health and well-being of children and young people in the digital world, and at UN Women UK he campaigns to ensure the voices of all women, including those of diverse ethnicities, sexualities and abilities are heard and listened to on issues from domestic violence to political representation.

Simon holds a BA in Economics from Durham University and a Masters in Public Policy (MPP) from Cambridge University, having started his career as a business consultant at Ernst & Young (EY). This is Simon's first Trustee role, and he has a firm belief that young people, in all their diversity, should be involved in governance and decision-making.

"In a world where there is more complexity, polarisation and uncertainty than ever, now is the time for us to show love, compassion and strength towards those communities that need it most."
