Those who are allowed to stay contribute to our country through work and paying taxes, but most importantly, after fleeing life-threatening dangers, they get the chance to rebuild their lives.” Caroline O’Connor, Chief Executive of Migrant Help, said: "Sir Hugh Bayley brings extensive experience that will be invaluable in advancing Migrant Help’s mission to support those most in need. The UK has a proud tradition of offering refuge to people fleeing conflict and persecution – a legacy that is reflected in Hugh’s lifelong commitment to public service. In our divided world, we need compassion more than ever before and I look forward to working closely with Hugh as we continue to empower and protect people affected by displacement and exploitation.” Manage Cookie Preferences
