Location: Dover

Full Time – 35 hours per week

Starting salary: £33,500 per annum
After 6 months’ probation: £36,000 per annum

Migrant Help is a national charity that has been established for over 50 years and delivers a range of support and advice services to migrants across the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager to be based in our Dover office.

This vacancy is open to both internal and external applicants.

The Role:

The successful candidate will have a qualified CIPD accreditation or equivalent qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in Human Resources. The post-holder will have meticulous attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, including well-developed letter writing skills. They will inform and empower/coach managers, identifying the required approach in any given situation. Experience in managing TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects is highly desirable. They should have a strong understanding of employment law, ensuring line managers are up to date with any change in policy, under the direction of the HR Director. The post-holder will deliver key HR initiatives, which may include workforce planning, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations and others.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and a Counter-Terrorism Check (CTC). They will need the flexibility to work unsocial hours by prior arrangement and travel in the UK and abroad as required.
