Migrant Help is pleased to announce that it’s been awarded Home Office funding to support vulnerable EU citizens to apply for settled or pre-settled status.

The funding will enable us to provide information, advice and guidance, as well as support the submission of applications in community spaces through an outreach and community engagement model. We will deliver this service in London and South East, the North West, East and West Midlands.

Andrew Billany, Migrant Help’s Chief Executive said: “We are delighted to have been successful in securing the funding. This service will help us ensure that vulnerable EU citizens are aware of the Settlement Scheme and the application process. We will also assist them to complete the applications to protect their status in the UK. Our charity has many years of experience in delivering advice services to EU citizens and we are excited to utilise this knowledge to the benefit of our clients.”

Migrant Help’s advisers will provide this service through drop-in sessions, awareness raising, information provision and events. We currently mobilising the service to start delivery in the next few weeks.
