Schools Programme

Children and young adults have often not yet fully formed their opinions around issues of displaced people - views that, once formed, may stay with them for a lifetime.

So Migrant Help has developed a School Programme to support you in challenging the mindset of young people in the UK and promoting positive discussion around these issues.

By visiting schools and delivering workshops and assemblies, the programme aims to dispel myths and encourage thought and discussion around how to be more welcoming to people from outside of the UK. The interactive, engaging workshops can be tailored to an individual school’s needs and to a range of ages. From our initial outreach, we have had excellent feedback and hope to move into the new school year working with as many schools as possible, to create a more welcoming environment for all.

We are currently looking for Client Advisers to join our dedicated and compassionate eVisa team, on a fixed term contract. There will be a potential for the role to be made permanent or be extended. The successful candidates will be organised and customer focused, have demonstrable experience providing advice and information within an organisation and working with people in sensitive and emotionally demanding situations and be passionate about protecting our vulnerable clients.

We are currently looking for a Regional Assistant Manager to join our passionate and committed Regional team in Cardiff on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to be extended or made permanent.
