Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! 

Why volunteer with us? 

You will be joining hundreds of dedicated people across the UK working together to protect survivors of exploitation and people affected by displacement, treating them with respect and enabling them to thrive as individuals. 

Your time will complement our existing services by bringing in dedication, energy and new ideas.  

You will be able to gain new skills and experience, meet new people and make meaningful connections, give back to marginalised communities.

We will offer you: 

  • Meaningful and rewarding volunteering experience 
  • A space for you to gain new skills and knowledge 
  • Reference to your future employer or educator 
  • Ongoing support through regular check ins and supervision 
  • Reasonable travel and lunch expenses reimbursed 
  • Comprehensive and role-specific training package

What do we expect from you: 

  • Undergo a DBS check 
  • To complete relevant induction and training 
  • Adhere to confidentiality and safeguarding procedures  
  • Uphold Migrant Help’s values
  • Be open and understanding of different customs, values, and beliefs 
  • Commit to volunteering for a minimum of 6 months, at agreed times
