Jobs Christmas Shoe Box Appeal Volunteer - Birmingham Christmas Shoe Box Appeal Volunteer Location: Birmingham Hours: One off commitment of a few hours As a Christmas Shoebox appeal Volunteer, you will help us make December more festive by helping us prepare and pack gifts to thousands of people seeking asylum across West Midlands. This is a one-off volunteer opportunity, we ask you to commit to at least half a day (morning or afternoon). On 18th-22nd of December, volunteering will take place between 10am and 5pm, and between 9am and 1pm on 23 December. What will you do? Complete induction on the day Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and policies Sorting, checking donated gifts for suitability e.g. age and packing into shoeboxes Organise and wrap gifts to later be distributed to our clients Volunteer as part of a diverse team What will you not be able to do?
