I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Migrant Help as the CEO from June 2017.

I joined Migrant Help from a background of CEO, Director and Board Member roles across a range of housing, local authority and voluntary sector organisations. I have been Chief Executive of housing organisations for most of the previous seventeen years. During this time, I also built up a lot of experience in the commissioning of community, housing, care and support services from the perspective of a local authority director. This includes my most recent role at the head of Homes for Haringey, responsible for large scale housing and homelessness services for this London Borough. And my work as CEO of two other housing organisations, as well as Director of one major national housing association. I am also the Chair of the Strategy and Performance Committee and senior Board trustee of Nacro – a social justice charity that focuses on supporting offenders, housing, health and education.

I have been privileged to work throughout my career as part of organisations that assisted and encouraged migrants to thrive, advising and meeting support needs as sensitively and effectively as possible. This has long been an interest and a passion of mine and motivated me to make the move to become the CEO of Migrant Help.

It is particularly exciting to take up the chance to deliver excellent results across the country, whilst keeping a strong focus on individual and positive outcomes for beneficiaries. Stealing a line from my predecessor, Catherine Johnstone CBE, I believe it is hugely important to establish a strong and vibrant voice for the people we work for, as this helps to shape our services to be the best they can be.
